Moon Presents Milad Khawam & Samah Boulmona - An Improvised Encounter

Milad Khawam & Samah Boulmona — An Improvised Encounter Samah Boulmona and Milad Khawam first met in Berlin in 2015 for a jam session. From the moment Milad picked up his trumpet and played his first notes, something clicked. The music flowed naturally, and an immediate musical connection was born. Since then, they have followed each other’s musical journeys, eventually finding themselves on the same vinyl release, Fake Lines by Alt Orient: Samah featured as part of Ishtirak Trio, and Milad with his own project. Now, almost a decade later, they meet again in Beirut for a live encounter at Metro Al Madina’s Moon events. Bringing together trumpet, accordion, and electronic effects, the two musicians will move between free improvisation and original musical ideas, exploring sounds, textures, and unexpected directions in the moment. With no fixed repertoire or predetermined outcome, this meeting is an invitation to listen, react, and discover what happens when two musical paths cross again.
