Gaza: Notes on a Genocide, 2023-2026 Nan Goldin. Gaza: Notes on a Genocide, 2023-2026 USA, Palestine, 2026, 14 min, Nan Goldin with David Sherman. Film screening followed by Q&A and conversation in presence of Nan Goldin & Hala Wardé, architect. In English with simultaneous translation to Arabic. This piece is a work in progress that stands as a record of what consumed me for almost three years; the need to bear witness. The screening allows people to experience communally what we have witnessed privately; a genocide unfolding in real time on our phones. The footage is from friends who visited Palestine, the brave journalists on the ground who posted on Instagram, most of whom have been murdered by Israel, and the people living it. The film remains unfinished because it is not over and reminds us not to turn our eyes away from the sorrow of Gaza nor what is being replicated in Lebanon. Nan Goldin.
