A contemporary theatre performance exploring memory, destruction, and reconstruction through the materiality of rubble and testimony. 40 Stones from Dahieh Rubble is a contemporary theatre work that examines the aftermath of destruction through memory, material, and testimony. Drawing on the rubble of Beirut's Dahieh, the performance transforms fragments of architecture into carriers of personal and collective histories, questioning what remains after violence reshapes places and lives. Through an interdisciplinary theatrical language, the work explores loss, resilience, and the politics of reconstruction, inviting audiences to reflect on how memory is preserved, erased, and rebuilt across generations.
